If you miss me will I go

Will you miss me when I go,
will you mourn my loss?
Or was it really no big deal,
just some lip and gloss

Will you miss me if I go,
will I rue your absence?
Will I wish that you were near,
will you miss my presence?

If you miss me will I go,
will we take the gamble?
We may lose all we have,
is this that last preamble?

Will I stay if you ask me,
do we stand a chance?
Of something better, something beaut
the banquet of romance

Will you kiss me if I stay,
will I keep you close?
Heart to heart and hand in hand,
how still this fire grows

Will you love me if I kiss you
will we think that you
Are the one for me and that
I’m the one for you?

If I love you, can you bear it,
will you trust I do?
Or will you burn it, tear it, curse it
tell me where to go

If you hurt me, can I bear it,
will I understand?
Or will I stumble, fall and crumble
without your steady hand

Can you bear it if I’m hurt,
can you watch me cry?
You whose children I have borne
you who’ve sucked me dry

Will you bear it if I bear it,
can we both forgive?
Our faults and failings and agree
to let the other live
